October
If you ever want to know how many body issues you have, try making a pair of fitted, woven pants. I completed my first attempt this month.

August
I saw an amazing kick pleat technique in a Chanel show that occupied my mind for some time. I was able to work out the details in a cute pencil skirt.

July
There are some very interesting pieces of fabric in my stash. Some I have had for 10+ years. This grey stripe reminded me of the 90s so much.

Goal #1: Use My Stash
To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose (so says the scripture) and right now seems to be my time for clearing out and getting rid of things that my household doesn't need or want. In terms of sewing, this is a season to Use My Stash Fabric.
Goal #2: Realize Old Goals
A lot of the fabric that I have is already earmarked for specific projects, so this is an exercise in completing and Realizing Old Sewing Goals. Off the top of my head I can count a handful of beautiful garments just waiting to be cut and stitched up. It's just a matter of looking back over my old blog posts and getting the job done.
Goal #3: Crafting Through The Seasons
This is a roll-over goal: Before Christmas 2013 I made the decision that I was going to dress my house for every holiday and season. Basically, this is my strange way of showing thankfulness and appreciation for what I have been provided and where I live.
What are your sewing goals for this year?
