I am having a blast with the
30/30 Sewing Challenge hosted by
Berry Barn Designs. I have been getting some sewing in and the best part is reading what everyone else is doing. Everyone else in the sewing challenge have quilting blogs and reading all about their beautiful projects has really inspired me. For example, I saw a wool applique quilt block last week that I fell in love with. Then there was a quilted jacket in progress. I can't wait to see how it turns out! I could go on and on but if you want to see them all for yourself, just jump on over and check them out.
Anyway, back to this weeks update. Here's what I made:
- My first goal for this week was to work on a black linen skirt. Yeah! Finished it.
- The second was to draft and start on a bucket bag. Work in progress.
This
top is made from a delicious,
salmon pink, silk chiffon.
Great job on the skirt. The tailored shape looks really good. I agree that seeing all the 30/30 projects is inspiring!
