Me Made May 2014

I know, I know it's only the 1st of April but So Zo announced Me Made May 2014 this morning... This is one of the main reasons that I sew modern clothes... Not specifically because of her challenge but the point behind her challenge. I sew, so that I can create my own wardrobe.... so that I don't have to be dependent on overpriced, poorly maid retail offerings.

I found this challenge last year and had no hope of participation. So I resolved to be able to take part this year..... and now it's here... almost. I'm very excited! Here's my pledge:

  I, Jessica @ The Sterling Thimble, sign up as a participant of Me-Made-May '14. I endeavour to wear/use a self crafted item each day for the duration of May 2014.

Now, with that out of the way and totally forgotten by me until next month, back to our regularly scheduled programing... I'm in the middle of making my first item for April. I'm hoping to post about it tomorrow. Until then... Happy Sewing! :)
