Blue Knit Tank Dress

 

I picked up this Pale Blue Interlock Knit last month with the intention of making a tank dress and perhaps t-shirts if there is anything left. I haven't made a modern outfit yet this month and the month is almost over. Guess that I had better get started.

I went through my patterns and decided to modify this one:

New Look 6808

 

I'll take the lower neckline without sleeves and use a size with very little ease, if any at all since this is a stretchy knit. Then I just have to extend the waistline down to a nice hemline. Sounds easy enough. I'll let you know if it goes that easy in real life.

 

I will be pairing this with a cotton voile cowl neck top that I am planning.
