Indigo & Blue - Outfit Planning

I am so happy with the results of my sewing efforts in March. I hope to keep up the momentum in April as well. While I still hold great affinity for the yellows of March, my eye is being swayed by this little ditty here:

Oh to have a cute and vintage style (read that as a fitted bodice and poofy skirt) dress in that gorgeous indigo! My heart is all a flutter. My only problem is that I don't have anything to use for lining... and being a burn-out fabric it Needs a lining!

And what of that amazing and oh, so colorful floral? It is but a scrap. Perhaps a little envelope clutch purse (finished) or a hat lining and band.... maybe, just maybe I can carve out all three!!

As for the last, that very rich blue, it finally spoke to me. It wants to be a dress as well. A cute knee-length summer frock to go with some wedge heels that I just picked up the other weekend. I'm excited and ready to go.

How about you? What are your goals for April?

    1. Thanks. Sewing isn't really all that hard. Modern patterns can be intimidating but you may get enjoyment out of small hand-stitched projects
