Easy Narrow Hem

This is the easiest narrow hem technique that I have come across so far. There is no measuring and very little thinking involved in this... which makes it perfect for me.

You will need: Sewing machine, Iron, Pins

Simply stitch around the edge of your hem at an even distance. For this example, I used 5/8". The blue pin shows the machine stitched line. Fold the edge of your fabric to this stitch line, then fold again. I like to iron the folds to make them nice and crisp.

It's also very helpful to pin along the way to hold everything where it's supposed to be. Then just stitch by hand or machine to finish your hem. So easy and perfectly even.
